Kofukan Karate Christchurch is proud to congratulate all of our students who competed at the Canterbury Cup & South Island School Karate Competition 2026.

The competition showcased the dedication, perseverance, and positive spirit of our students. It was rewarding to see the hard work from training reflected in their performances, with every competitor demonstrating determination, respect, and continuous improvement.

Our club is delighted with the results achieved:

  • 🥇 16 Gold Medals

  • 🥈 7 Silver Medals

  • 🥉 5 Bronze Medals

While these achievements are something to celebrate, the true success of the day went beyond medals. Every competition provides valuable opportunities to learn, gain experience, challenge ourselves, and grow both as karateka and as individuals.

A sincere thank you goes to our coaches, volunteers, families, and supporters whose encouragement and commitment made the day such a positive experience. Your continued support plays an important role in the development of our students and the strength of our dojo community.

Congratulations once again to all of our competitors. We are incredibly proud of your efforts, sportsmanship, and commitment to representing Kofukan Karate Christchurch.
