Great Results, Great Team Spirit – Canterbury Karate Championship 2026

Canterbury Karate Championship 2026 – Round 4

On Sunday, 11 October 2026, our students represented Kofukan Karate Christchurch at Round 4 of the Canterbury Karate Championship. We achieved great results across the categories, and we’re proud of all our students! There’s always more to learn and room to improve. Every competition is a chance to challenge ourselves, gain experience, and become better at karate and even better people.

A big thank you to everyone who participated, gave their best, and supported one another throughout the day. Whether you brought home a medal or gained valuable competition experience, you’re an important part of our Kofukan family. The encouragement and teamwork shown by our students made us proud!

A special shout-out to Payton, Sadra, Jaiden, and Kawana for competing for the first time! It takes courage to step onto the competition floor, and we’re proud of you for giving it a go. This is just the beginning!

We’d also like to give a special thank you to our coaches, Britney, Mia, and Olivia, who not only supported and coached our students but also competed themselves!

We appreciate the time, effort, and dedication they put into helping others while continuing to challenge themselves on the competition floor.

We celebrate the wins, learn from the challenges, and get back to training.

Congratulations to all our students and coaches, and thank you for representing Kofukan Karate Christchurch!
