Reo Takeuchi to Represent Team New Zealand

Kofukan Karate Christchurch is proud to support Reo Takeuchi as he prepares to represent Team New Zealand at the WKF Junior World Championships in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

Reo will compete in the U21 -67kg category at the championships, which will take place from 14–18 October 2026.

Reo continues to set a great example both on and off the competition mat. As our senpai, he not only puts in the hard work and dedication required to compete at the highest level, but also gives his time to train and support the younger members of our club. His commitment to both his own development and helping others makes us incredibly proud to have him as part of Kofukan.
